Winter is, in private aviation, the test of demand without the help of season. This winter prices held; the test was failed, in the operators' favour.
Consolidation in private aviation is, on paper, the consolidation of the fleet. In practice it is the consolidation of the standard — fewer hands on more aircraft, which is not the same thing.
Westbound transatlantic remains the routing the market mis-prices in either direction. The eastbound is honest; the westbound is calendar.
