The industry standard for returning a private charter quote is, at the time of writing, approximately thirty seconds. A client sends the routing; a broker queries three or four operators through an automated sourcing platform; the prices return; the lowest is forwarded. On a transaction of fifty thousand dollars, the quoting broker has invested, on average, less than a minute of actual attention. This is the standard. It is also, in the view of the office, insufficient.

The work
Every charter enquiry that arrives at the office passes through four gates before a number is issued. Each gate can fail the request. Each failure is logged and filed. A request that fails two gates is routed to a second advisor for independent review before the client receives any reply.
